Page 2 – Abstract (Part 1)
The Bank Management System is a menu-driven Java application designed to perform basic banking operations. It provides a simple way to manage a bank account and carry out transactions through a computer program.
The project is developed using Core Java concepts such as classes, objects, constructors, methods, conditional statements and loops.
Page 3 – Abstract (Part 2)
The main purpose of this project is to demonstrate how banking operations can be performed using Java programming.
The system allows users to:
Create a bank account.
Check account balance.
Deposit money.
Withdraw money.
Display account details.
Exit the application.
This project helps students understand the practical application of object-oriented programming and decision-making statements in Java.

INTRODUCTION TO THE PROJECT
The Bank Management System is a simple Java-based application developed to perform basic banking activities.
In today's world, banks use computer systems to manage customer accounts and financial transactions. This project represents a basic version of such a system.
The application provides a menu through which users can select different banking operations. It uses Java programming concepts to process account information and perform transactions.
Page 8 – Objectives
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT
To understand the practical applications of Core Java.
To develop a menu-driven banking application.
To perform deposit and withdrawal operations.
To calculate and display the available account balance.
To understand classes and objects.
To implement constructors and user-defined methods.
To use conditional statements and loops.
To develop logical and problem-solving skills.

Page 11 – Algorithm / Working Procedure
ALGORITHM
Start the program.
Import the Scanner class.
Create a BankAccount class.
Accept the account holder's name, account number and opening balance.
Display the banking menu.
Ask the user to enter an option.
Perform the selected operation:
Option 1: Display account details.
Option 2: Check balance.
Option 3: Deposit money.
Option 4: Withdraw money.
Option 5: Exit.
Repeat the menu until the user selects Exit.
Stop the program.
