Explain one (Artificial Intelligence):

Artificial Intelligence (AI) means machines that can think and learn like humans.
Example: Voice assistants like Alexa or Google Assistant.
AI helps in games, robots, healthcare, and smart devices.

3. Key characteristics of a computer

  • Speed – works very fast

  • Accuracy – gives correct results

  • Storage – stores large amount of data

  • Diligence – never gets tired

  • Versatility – can do many types of work

4. Four limitations of a computer

  • No intelligence – cannot think on its own

  • No feelings – cannot feel emotions

  • Depends on electricity

  • Works only on instructions (GIGO – Garbage In, Garbage Out)

5. Two key features of each generation of computer

First Generation (Vacuum Tubes)

  • Used vacuum tubes

  • Very large and slow

Second Generation (Transistors)

  • Used transistors

  • Smaller and faster than first generation

Third Generation (Integrated Circuits)

  • Used IC (chips)

  • More reliable and faster

Fourth Generation (Microprocessor)

  • Used microprocessors

  • Very small and powerful (personal computers)

Fifth Generation (Artificial Intelligence)

  • Based on AI technology

  • Can learn and make decisions (smart machines)
